Types of Photogrammetry
Types of Photogrammetry
Aerial Photogrammetry: In this method, photos are taken from an aircraft or other flying objects like drones. These images are often used for mapping topography, land use, and various planning purposes.
Terrestrial (Ground-Based) Photogrammetry: Photos are taken from a fixed position on the ground. This method is used to gather information for various applications, such as land surveying, construction, and even forensic investigations.
Close-Range Photogrammetry: This is used for objects that are relatively close to the camera and is typically employed for industrial measurements, archaeology, and the documentation of cultural heritage.

An example of the application of photogrammetry was carried out within the Energy House at TISM College in Bree, where Ground-Based Photogrammetry was used.
